Booking Terms — DCPH Studio

Thanks for booking a session with DCPH Studio. These terms apply to every session booked through this site. By checking "I agree" at checkout, you confirm you've read and accepted them.

1. What's included in a session

Every session listed on the Sessions page includes up to 2 hours of shooting time, a pre-session consultation to discuss your vision and location, and your final gallery of professionally edited images delivered within 7 days of the shoot. The exact number of delivered images varies by session type and is listed on the individual session page.

2. Deposit and payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is collected through Squarespace at the time of booking to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot, before the session begins, and is accepted as cash or Zelle. Sessions will not proceed until the balance is paid.

3. Rescheduling

You can reschedule your session once at no charge, as long as you let me know at least 48 hours before the original start time. Your deposit carries over to the new date. Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will be honored when possible, but a second reschedule or a short-notice change may require a new deposit.

4. Cancellation and refunds

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, the remaining balance is not owed. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not show up to the session, the full session fee is due.

5. Late arrivals

The 2-hour session clock starts at the scheduled start time. If you arrive late, the session still ends at the originally scheduled end time — the lost time cannot be added on. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contact, the session is considered a no-show and the full fee is due.

6. Location and travel

Sessions within New York City are included in the base price. I also shoot worldwide — if you'd like to book a session outside NYC, reach out first and we'll quote any travel, lodging, and per-diem costs before the booking is confirmed. Any permits, venue fees, or entry tickets required at the chosen location are the client's responsibility.

7. Weather (outdoor sessions)

For outdoor sessions, I monitor the forecast in the days leading up to the shoot. If weather conditions would make the session unsafe or significantly compromise the work (heavy rain, dangerous heat, etc.), we'll reschedule at no charge. Light rain, clouds, or cold weather are not grounds for rescheduling unless we agree in advance.

8. Image delivery

Final edited images are delivered as a private online gallery within 7 days of the session. Clients receive high-resolution files suitable for printing and web-optimized files suitable for social media. Unedited RAW files are not included and are not available for purchase.

9. Usage rights

Clients receive a personal-use license to the delivered images: you may share them on personal social media, print them, and use them for any non-commercial purpose. Commercial use (advertising, brand promotion, paid endorsements) requires a separate commercial license — reach out and we'll work it out.

DCPH Studio retains copyright to all images and may use them in my portfolio, on social media, and on this website, unless you request otherwise in writing before the session. If you need a session kept fully private (e.g., intimate/boudoir sessions), just tell me — privacy requests are always respected.

10. Model release (applies to portrait, couples, creative sessions)

By booking a non-private session, you grant DCPH Studio the right to use your likeness for portfolio and marketing purposes, subject to section 9 above. If you prefer not to be featured publicly, tell me in advance and we'll treat your session as private.

11. Conduct

Sessions are creative collaborations. I expect clients to treat me and any assistants with respect. Harassment, intoxication, or behavior that makes the session unsafe will end the session immediately with no refund.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version in effect on the date you paid your deposit.
